Each year Keytek undertake an event or challenge in order to raise as much money as possible for a chosen charity or charities.

Last year we entered the Poole Dragon Boat Race and raised a phenomenal £1,500 for The Anthony Nolan Trust; thanks again to all who gave their support.

This year we’d once again like to ask for your support

For 2009 we want to really push the boundaries, attempt the seemingly impossible and venture where no other mere mortals would dare to tread! We want to test our stamina, our grit and determination and push ourselves to the very limit of endurance!

Well, Ok…that may be a slight exaggeration, but the point being we wanted to try something just a bit different.

With that in mind we’ve decided, inspired by the Tour de France, to hold our very own ‘Tour de Britain’.

Our aim is to cycle around the entire country and, being the social bunch that we are, ‘visit’ all our engineers along the way.

Wow! We can hear you thinking, really?

Yup, really… well, in a fashion

We’ll actually be undertaking this very risky and adventurous expedition on cycling machines here in the office in Poole and will be charting our progress as we make our way to all our engineers around the country. Everyone in the company will be involved, and individual teams will battle it out to see who can clock up the most mileage!

We start cycling at the beginning of September and plan to have circumnavigated the whole of the UK by the end of the month!

We’d love you to sponsor us for this awesome challenge

In the past we’ve been incredibly lucky with the support we’ve received with our fundraising and very much looking forward to the support we will hopefully receive this time round.

This year we have selected 5 charities who will benefit from the monies raised, not only in this event, but from all the other fundraising activities we have undertaken across the year.

Below you will see a list of the chosen charities as well as a link to our JustGiving page for that specific charity. From each JustGiving page you will be able to link to the other Charity’s pages, so, if you like, you can donate money to more than one worthy cause.

JustGiving sends your donation straight to the selected charity and automatically reclaims Gift Aid on all eligible donations, so what you give is worth even more

Please donate what you can.

None of these charities receive any Government funding and rely purely on charitable donations. Even the smallest amount can go towards making a big difference.

Thanks in advance for any support you can give

From everyone at Keytek
